Who this policy is about

This policy applies to CLEAN BEST GROUP PTY LTD (ABN 84 700 040 553), trading as Clean Best, of 54 Columbia Rd, Seven Hills NSW 2147, and to this website, cleanbest-commercialcleaning-newington.com.au. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect only what we need in order to quote for and carry out cleaning work. When you submit the quote form on this site, that is: your first and last name, your phone number, your email address, the service you are interested in, the time you would like us to call, and optionally the address of the premises and any message you write.

If you become a client we will also hold the information necessary to do the work and to invoice you — the site address, access arrangements, the agreed scope and schedule, and billing details.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information as defined by the Privacy Act — health information, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, criminal record or biometric data. Please do not send it to us. If you send it anyway, we will delete it.

We do not collect payment card details through this website. This site has no payment function.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, to call you back at the time you nominated, to arrange and carry out a walkthrough, to prepare a written quote, to deliver the cleaning service if you engage us, and to invoice you. We do not use your details for anything else, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.

Who we share it with

The quote form on this site posts to a contact-form service operated on our behalf, which emails the submission to us. That service is the only third party that handles your enquiry data in the ordinary course. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone, for any purpose, ever.

We may disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. We will not do so otherwise.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising cookies and does not run cross-site tracking. If analytics are added in future in order to understand which pages are useful, they will be configured so as not to identify you individually, and this policy will be updated to say so before they are switched on.

Storage and security

Enquiry data is held in our email system and, for clients, in our job records. Access is limited to the people who need it to do the work. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access — but no system connected to the internet is perfectly secure, and we are not going to claim otherwise.

How long we keep it

If you enquire and do not proceed, we keep your enquiry only for as long as it is useful to answer follow-up questions, and then we delete it. If you become a client, we keep the records we are required to keep for tax and legal purposes, and no longer than that.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au or call 1300 494 983 and we will deal with it. There is no charge for this.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, tell us first and we will try to fix it. If you are still not satisfied, you can take the matter to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will publish the updated version on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
